High Court order for Anna University?
Tamil Nadu: The Chennai High Court has directed Anna University to issue a notice within 2 weeks regarding the provision of 15% reservation for Indians living abroad in B.Arch courses.
In the College of Architecture, Chennai, in the reservation for expatriate Indians, B.R.C.
Shivani Arun, a student from Singapore, had filed a case against it in the Chennai High Court.

Anna University said the reservation was not given to expatriate Indians as the Council of Architecture had not announced its decision on whether or not to provide the total number of students allowed.
The advocate, appearing for the Architectural Council, said he had instructed all educational institutions to provide 15% of the total student seats to expatriate Indians.
The judge who recorded this, based on the instruction of the Architectural Council, said that B.R.C. Anna ordered the university to issue a notice within 2 weeks regarding the provision of 15% reservation for expatriate Indians in the course.
